After a short walk through beautiful countryside north of Vang Vieng you will get the chance to tube inside the impressive Tham Nam (Water Cave). We can go in up to 500m! After a BBQ lunch we then paddle the kayaks down the Nam Song past stunning scenery to Vang Vieng. We return in time to catch the sunset from the terrace of Thavonsouk Hotel.
Option 2: As above but we kayak as far as the start of tubing and then swap the kayaks for tubes and float our way down the river stopping at one of the bars for a cold refreshing drink.
Cycling, Kayaking & Waterfall
We start the day cycling from Vang Vieng to the town's largest waterfall which will take approximately 1 hour. There we will have time to swim and enjoy lunch at the bottom of the waterfall.
After lunch we keep biking up to the river to transfer to kayaks. You will receive training from our guides before we kayak down the Nam Song past beautiful scenery back to Vang Vieng.
Caving (4 Caves) & Kayaking
This tour takes in Elephant Cave, Hoi Cave, Loup Cave and Tham Nam (Water Cave). The day starts by heading 15km north of Vang Vieng to the Elephant Cave which is a very important Buddhist Temple. Inside the cave are remarkable limestone formations. Next we visit Tham Hoi Cave which goes under the mountain for around 4km. Near to here is Loup Cave where the formations inside make musical sounds when tapped upon. The last cave is the Water Cave where you can swim in the clear spring water and tube inside the cave up to 500m.
We then have lunch at the Water Cave before kayaking down the Nam Song in time to catch the sunset with a refreshing cold drink.
